Free-hanging blinds

Free-hanging blinds are suspended from a fixed top rail, and are typically operated by a cord, chain, handle or motor. These are fantastic blinds for high or extra-large windows, and also work well over sliding doors.

All blinds, except F Touch, can come with guide wires to prevent the blind from moving in the breeze.

F1

The F1 blind is a free-hanging, cord operated blind. This blind has a fixed upper rail, only the lower rail moves up and down. The lower rail is raised and lowered with a cord. The cord and cord lock are a neat mechanism, making this an unobtrusive and slimline blind. The F1 blind works well on wide windows.

The F1 blind is often installed side by side with VS2 blinds.

Guide wires are an optional extra.

F2

The F2 blind is a free-hanging, cord operated, top down bottom up blind. This blind has a fixed upper rail, the middle and lower rails can both be moved up and down. There is a cord on either side – one to raise and lower the lower rail and one to raise and lower the middle rail. When the middle rail is lowered, there are visible strings running across the window.

Guide wires are an optional extra.

F4

The F4 blind is a free-hanging, chain operated blind. This blind has a fixed upper rail, only the lower rail moves up and down. The lower rail is raised and lowered with an endless chain. The F4 blind is a popular choice for wider windows and sliding doors.

Guide wires are an optional extra.

F Touch with operating handle

The F Touch blind is a free-hanging, handle operated blind. This blind has a fixed upper rail, only the lower rail moves up and down. The lower rail is raised and lowered by using the handle. This blind is a perfect choice for situations where cords and chains are undesirable – for example, as the middle of three blinds.

Guide wires are not an option for F Touch blind.

FE A Rechargeable battery operated blind

The FE A blind is a free-hanging, rechargeable battery operated blind. This blind has a fixed upper rail, only the lower rail moves up and down. The FE A blind is controlled by remote control. The FE A blind typically needs recharging every 6-8 months.

Guide wires are an optional extra.

FE Hardwired motorised blind

The FE blind is a free-hanging, motorised blind. This blind must be hard wired or plugged plugged into a power point.

The FE blind has a Somfy receiver and hence is operated by a Somfy remote control or a wall switch.  It can be operated by a Somfy Connexoon Window RTS.

Guide wires are an optional extra.
