Top down bottom up blinds
Also called cordless blinds top down bottom up blinds have been designed to fit snugly inside the beading or reveal of a window or door. They are perfect for uPVC tilt and turn windows, tilt and slide doors, some lift and slide doors and French doors where they are installed inside the beading and move with the door or window.Anchored by four feet, one in each corner of the window, the cordless blinds slide up and down a set of strings that sit unobtrusively on the extreme edges of the window and are operated by handles. When open, there are no visible strings running across the middle of the glass for the honeycomb version.
Because cordless blinds clip into a closed position within the beading or reveal of a window, they are very effective at trapping still layers of air and supply good thermal benefits, as well as looking fantastic – this particularly applies to the honeycomb version.
Cordless blinds have no loose cords or chains. These blinds make for a minimalistic, modern look.
VS 2
The VS 2 blind is a cordless, handle operated, top down bottom up blind, making it the most versatile of blinds. The VS 2 blind comes with upper magnetic fixings.
Opening the blind from the top provides privacy in the home whilst retaining a view of trees and the sky.
VS 2 Slide Comfort
The VS 2 Slide Comfort is a cordless, rail operated, top down bottom up blind with magnetic upper fixings.
It is reinforced with adhesive aluminium side rails which means the VS 2 Slide Comfort can span a width up to 1800mm with no visible cords in the window. Often used on wider windows side by side with a VS 2 blind on the smaller tilt and turn window.
VS 2 MaxLine
The VS 2 MaxLine blind is a cordless, rail operated, top down/bottom up blind with magnetic upper fixings.
Often used on sliding doors where the window frame is deep enough to fit the blind on the fixed pane behind the sliding panel, or on wider windows side by with a VS 2 blind on the smaller tilt and turn window.
VS 3 SD
The VS3 SD blind is a cordless, handle operated, day/night blind.
Similar to the VS 3 blind, this is also a day/night blind using two different fabrics, however, in this case each fabric has its own top and bottom rail. This means the middle of the window can be exposed, with one blind pushed to the top and the other lowered to the bottom of the window. The lower blind can be positioned in the middle of the window.
VS 3
The VS 3 blind is a cordless, handle operated, day/night blind. The VS 3 blind has a fixed upper rail, the lower rails are both movable. Typically the night fabric is a blockout fabric and the day fabric is a sheer fabric. The day blind can also be translucent, giving full privacy but still letting a soft light through. The day and night blind fabrics are connected to the same middle rail.
VS 1
The VS 1 blind is a cordless, handle operated blind, similar to the VS 2 blind.
The blind is typically fixed at the top with only the lower rail moving up and down. In some instances it can also be installed the other way around hence making it a top down only blind.
